From Augsburg it is the Lech that accompanies the holiday route to the foothills of the Alps. The W\u00f6rnitz is a leisurely river that meanders through beautiful natural landscapes.<br \/>Between Dinkelsb\u00fchl and Harburg you can experience a special natural monument, the Ries. It is a wide valley that was formed by the impact of a meteorite about 14.5 million years ago. A special feature is the &#8220;Devil&#8217;s Kitchen&#8221; with its turquoise-blue, clear water. Further south, near Hohenfurch, the road crosses the Pfaffenwinkel border.<\/p>\n<p>Travelers marvel at the magnificent backdrop of the foothills of the Alps with their lush meadows, green forests, clear lakes and picturesque towns. In the south, the horizon is limited by the magnificent panorama of the Allg\u00e4u Alps. Shortly before the end of the Romantic Road, it crosses the Ammergebirge nature reserve with its four picturesque lakes. Passing the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, you have reached your destination in F\u00fcssen. The town lies on the shore of Lake Forggensee, the largest lake in the Allg\u00e4u.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"w-grid us_post_carousel type_carousel
