The spa administration as health service manager has various areas of responsibility:

• Operation and safeguarding of the 4 healing springs with well houses
• Maintenance of the 134,000 square meter spa park
• Brine water supplier for the thermal spa and a physiotherapy practice
• Maintenance and management of the buildings, some of which are historic, e.g. Wandelhalle, Haus des Gastes, Wilhelmsbau
• Coordinator and billing office for the “Outpatient preventive care service”
• Seat of two health associations:
  • Association for Health Education “Bad Mergentheim Model” e.V.
  • Medical Training and Support Association Bad Mergentheim e.V.
• Economic development:
  • Link between clinics and politics or administration
• Issue and proper processing of the spa and guest card and settlement of the visitor’s tax
• Organization and implementation of events in the areas of culture, leisure, customs and health. Year-round spa music program with the Bad Mergentheim spa ensemble (with 4 to 6 people).
