Every year on the 4th weekend in Advent, the Romantic Christmas Market invites visitors to the old town island of Ried in Donauwörth. Over four days, artisans, bands, choirs, clubs, restaurateurs and museums offer guests Christmas specialties and delights. A barrel organ player plays Christmas carols and you can sing along. It gets particularly atmospheric in the evening hours when hundreds of candles are lit.
