With over 2,100 seats, the Freilichtbühne am Roten Tor is one of the largest open-air stages in southern Germany and is owned by the city of Augsburg. For more than 80 years, the Staatstheater Augsburg has always been a guest there from mid-June to the end of July, staging its productions on this unique stage.
