Weikersheim has one of the most important Renaissance palaces in Germany with an almost completely preserved interior and a magnificent palace garden laid out in the Baroque style of Versailles. A guided tour of the palace, especially of the impressive Knights’ Hall, is worthwhile for every visitor. After the tour, visitors can explore the palace garden on their own. The baroque palace garden fascinates with its numerous extraordinary figures. Unlike almost any other garden from this period, the statues here are almost completely preserved. Over 70 statues, most of which have stood on their pedestals for 300 years. Photo: JenniferSauer
