The Romanesque cloister probably dates back to the second half of the 12th century. It can be reached via a staircase from the market square. It is well known to culture and theater lovers, as the famous cloister plays with open-air performances of classics of world literature take place here every summer. From April to the end of August, the cloister can only be visited through the Café am Kreuzgang (closed on Mondays). Photo: A. Strunz
